Wow, over a year of not putting a damn thing on this website.
That doesn't mean the year wasn't eventful. I just meant there was nothing eventful enough for me to put on this site. Too much of the same has been happening that I've covered already. Half the population is bitching about the other half. Everyone is a part of an oppressed faction of society. One person makes a statement, another person gets offended and the whole world will eavesdrop on their conflict and then pick a side.
The topics and arguments are the same. Making fun of people dumb enough to argue with each other about how to make the world perfect has gotten mundane. The sand up comedians and late night talk show hosts are doing so much of a better job than it than me (probably because they get paid for it...and they have talent).
It's Christmas Eve and for the past couple of days, I have been spending time with Lady Karma and my daughters. Instead of the news, Lady Karma has had the TV's playing nothing but Christmas stuff for the past week. I've noticed that people haven't been putting their usual divisional political bullshit on social media lately. It wont be long before people go back to their ways after the holidays are over.
I figured I'd put up my only 2018 post at a time of year were people are really acting like "Americans". Now I am not going to make any promises of dozens of blogs within the next year, but I do promise that I'll do more. I'll need other topics other than religion, politics and social media to write about. It is just very hard to admit that the only thing worth writing about is people arguing over topics in which I'd usually shrug my shoulders.
In the eyes of other Christians, I am not a very good one, it is is for a very obvious reason. Although I'll explain this reason in a later post under the category of Karma's Kronicles, I do know that there is a very special reason why people are being nicer to each other this time of year. Whether it's because people are excited over the celebration of Christ or because of people that are just around enjoying the vibe, it shouldn't matter. The point is, people are being nicer to each other.
I'd say 2018 has me ready for 2019. How about you???
At the end of the day, I'm just a dude with a family that likes to share jokes and commentary on a website, not for an audience, but for my own piece of mind. Thank you for reading, and if you continue to do so, thank you for that as well.
