I often wonderful this world would be if debating about politics was only allowed for two hours a day...but after the curfew, it was forbidden and punishable with consequences in the neighborhood of days in jail.
I often take road trips in the company vehicle and listen to A.M radio since it is really the only thing that comes in clear on some of these Southeastern Interstates. 90% of the time it is Conservative talk radio, but I don't care...I'm open-minded and would rather listen to that than dead air. I often wonder if they ever get tired of complaining about the same old thing as if it will ever be effective. I see people on both sides doing the same thing: pointing fingers at the other side.
Listing to tall of this shit, I have realized one of many things...moaning sessions about politics is a waste of time and is ineffective. It is all the same, Democrats want your wallet, Republicans want your bedroom. Democrats want to use tax money to pay for abortions, Republicans want to use tax money to prevent gay marriage. Democrats want to make brand new mistakes, Republicans want to keep making the same ones. Both sides have dents in their armor.
The bottom line is that is seems as if the each side is putting their differences over their common goal: getting this country back on it's feet again. Fix the country and worry about who gets credit later. And non-politicians are not exempt either! I wonder what percentage of the bastards that complain about the government are doing anything about it...other than complaining. I don't complain about the government...I complain about the people that complain about the government.
Take a step back, take in a deep breath and be thankful to at least be a citizen in this country. Where else in the world can you catch a Presidential Candidate in a sexy pose such as this one:
Oh, yeah...she's Down with Brown...with a little mustard. Most camera conscious Female Politicians would have pinched the tip off of it and put it in her mouth...but that would also be somewhat...provocative also.
I hope I have done enough to bother both sides off any useless debates that are going on out there. Things are going to get very skiddish in this country in the next fifteen months (the election of 2012). Don't loose any friends, hurt any feelings, and burn any bridges due to political differences. It is the dumbest way to go through life.
Despite all things, Karma Reaper stays optimistic...and yes, I referred to myself in third person.
