Hello My Imaginary Audience!!! I was thinking about jumping back in from a 4 month hiatus with "Random Mind Dumplings 26" but then I thought it would be just good to just do an update post since a shitload of events transpired between December 19th to now. Although this isn't a "Dumpling" entry, I'll through a few political cartoons in this mini-commentary because a cartoon is worth a thousand arguments. Afterall, it's been on hell of a year so far!
By my past posts it should be easy to tell that I don't really get into politics, but I do get onto the people that are critical of politics and don't know what they are talking about. I get onto people that want to "feel" like they are into politics by simply picking one side and bashing another. My favorite targets are the Anti-Obama peanut gallery who don't fully research their grievances. They just grieve to get hi-fives from their fellow Anti-Obama heard of sheep. My political mantra is as follows: I'm fine with you being "Anti-Obama" as long as you know what the fuck you are talking about.
Yes, I will admit that there is a Pro-Obama heard of sheep that are equally annoying...they just aren't as fun to pick on.
Ok, so two horrible events occured since my last post. Sandy Hook and the Bostom Marathon. One of my favorite Anti-Obama Sheep got on facebook after Obama's press conference to discuss Sandy Hook and posted "Obama cried during the press conference...no wonder why I didn't vote for him." A couple of hours after the Boston bombs went off, the same Sheep posted "See Obama, it wasn't a gun that did it." Now my goal was not to try to change this Sheep's mind on her views, but I couldn't help but to bring attention to the fact that the Sheep's first social media action was bring Anti-Obama politics into these tradgedies. I'm not telling you what your reaction should be, I am simply pointing out that a majority of the people in this country's first thought was something along the lines of "Holy Shit! People have died!"
Sometime's I think the only time Americans reunite and put aside their differences is after tragedies. This particular Anti-Obama Sheep is an example of how some people will still remain divided even when terrorists and mentally unstable individuals kill people on American soil. Your true enemy doesn't care what your political views are; your true enemy hates you because you are an American.
If I had to chose an area of politics to be concerned about, it would be foreign policy. I am more concerned with Kim Jong Un's mental state than I am with Obama sopposedly taking our guns away. North Korea is a country that is suffering from the worst case of Napoleon syndrome that I have ever seen.
