If the acceptance of your peers affects the way you follow Christ then you are not a Christian, you just do what you're told.  

I have a ultra-progressive cousin who is as liberal as Clarence Thomas is conservative.  When I asked her what she did for Thanksgiving, she simply replied "I don't celebrate the genocide of indigenous people."  I simply replied "Great, neither do I.  So what did you do for Thanksgiving?"  America is an awesome Country because it is full of people that will use any excuse to get together, eat, and enjoy each other, not matter the origin of the celebration.  There is a good chance that more Tacos and Coronas are consumed in the U.S. on Cinco De Mayo than Mexico.  It's perfectly fine if non-Mexicans get together to party on the 5th of May; it's perfectly fine if non-Christians get together to party on Christmas.  

I have been torn on Christianity ever since I was kicked out of a private Christian school in second grade.  Of course, I was too young to know it was because of behavioral issues but at the time my seven year old brain thought it was because Jesus didn't want me there.  Either way, my grades improved, I made friends, and thrived once I was enrolled in public school.  I am not blaming or giving Christianity credit for that major event in my life, I am just glad that it happened.  It has not stopped me from celebrating Christmas and enjoying the heightened level of humanitarianism of the Holiday season.  

A good Christian realizes that they are not perfect (Romans 3:23).  A great Christian is one who strives to be Christ-like.  I am not an expert on Christ, but I am comfortable in confirming that Christ doesn't care who you vote for...but Christ might be curious as to why.  We live in a society where it is more important to be in control than it is to be loved.  About 95% of my posts on Karma Reaper's Harvest are complaints about hypocrisy and people not practicing what they preach.  

Besides voting, is there a way the Conservatives could find a way to "own the libs" in a Christ-like manner?  Probably not.  Some people made the decision to ship immigrants to the Vice-President's front yard on Christmas Eve to make a point.  Some people made the decision to provide shelter and food to them because it was the right thing to do.  Which group of people is more Christ-like?  The people sending the immigrants or the people taking care of them?

Follow your heart, not your clique.  If there is a heaven, I highly doubt there is an isle separating the Donkeys from the Elephants up there let alone buses where you can ship away folks that you don't think belong there.

Random Mind Dumplings 35

I don't want to have a Chaos Thoughts post based solely on Georgia's most popular runner-up for Senate but he will be mentioned quite a few times in the 34th edition of Random Mind Dumplings.

I will not call them Sell-Outs or House Negros.  They are just Black Men that know what to do to get White Bigots to like them.  A White Bigot will tolerate a Black Man as long as he doesn't knock up his daughter or complain about racism.

Don't you ever sit back and wonder why people still give a damn about what comes out of Kanye's mouth?  He is thirsty for attention and knows that this country is full of folks willing to give it to him if he remains controversial.  

The majority of people complaining about "grooming" the next generation are Groomers themselves.  Homosexuals, Transsexuals, and Drag Queens are not shooting up high schools and night clubs. 

For all of the diplomatic experts that are pissed that Brittney Griner was released instead of Paul Whelan, just keep in mind that the deal was either the US gets Griner or the US gets nothing at all.  Don't pretend as if Biden had a choice between a WNBA Star caught with cannabis oil over a dishonorably discharged Marine accused of espionage.   

Sometimes you will need more than an "R" next to your name to get gullible Republicans in Georgia to vote for you.  That is why Kemp (R) beat Abrams (D) for Governor but Walker (R) lost to Warnock (D) for Senate.  Kemp is a Republican, Walker just does what Republicans tell him to do. 

The Royal Family should be thought of as just Mascots for England.  I refuse to believe in the archaic belief that they were ordained by God to rule a country.  Don't they have just as many imperfections as a normal family that works for a living?

Would we be just like Iran if the folks whining over Kaepernick's protest actually ran the Country and wrote the laws?  Of course!  There are American citizens out there that think that "Traitors" knelt during the National Anthem and that "Patriots" stormed the capitol during the certification of an election.  The fact that their vote counts just as much as mine worries me.

I am relieved at the result of the Georgia Senate run-off election but I am far from celebrating it.  The fact that the race was as close as it was also worries me.  Over 1.7 million residents of the Peach State waited in line to elect a Trump selected "yes-man" to represent them.

Perhaps Bill Clinton should have said he "did not know" Monica Lewinski.  Would the GOP still have impeached him?  Maybe I'm biased...but I'd rather get caught getting a BJ than get caught having dinner with folks that idolize Nazis.

I only posted the above cartoon because I think it's funny that the Vampire is drinking a Bloody Mary.  I snatch a lot from the claytoonz.com website to put on this page.  Clay Jones has a great sense of humor and I appreciate his research and wit.  

Rest...Relax...Recover...Republicans

We have to stop giving folks the benefit of the doubt just because we agree with their policies.  Keep in mind the "Do as I say, not as I do" party picked Walker over other qualified Senate candidates because Trump endorsed him.  Now they are forced to defend him while trying to dig up dirt on an established Pastor with a college degree, political experience, and the ability to deliver coherent speeches.      

If you call someone a liar, you may be assigned the task of proving they are a liar.  Especially if that someone is keeping receipts.  Especially if that person gave birth to one of your children.  Especially if that person IS one of your children.  I am not surprised that his ex-girlfriend (or "some alleged woman" according to Walker) kept receipts.  Maybe she knew that one day he would have run for office with an anti-abortion platform.  Walker is not the only anti-abortion politician who has financed an abortion himself.  We all know this.  We should not be surprised that what they say in the boardroom can be a complete contradiction of what they say in the bedroom.  

I somewhat understand that they are looking at each other and saying to themselves "listen, this is really fucked up...but we need control of the Senate!!!"  But I am also wondering why they aren't asking themselves how Walker became their only hope to defeat Warnock in Georgia.  They put all their eggs in one handbasket and are prepared to ride that handbasket into hell in order to get that Senate seat.  

The party of "moral values" is currently making Bill Clinton look like a Saint.  Paying off a porn star that you boned while your wife was pregnant is nothing compared to getting a blowjob from an intern #sarcasm.  The party of "moral values" is willing to sweep an abortion and a domestic violence conviction under the rug in order to be in control.  If you have a R after your name, you can do no wrong.  If you have a D after your name, they'll question the validity of your birth certificate and will bend over backwards to see what's on your son's laptop.  

Simply doing what you are told can be a bad thing when you are following the orders of someone who themselves do bad things.  Sometimes, there will not be a reward for your loyalty.  Just a history of publicly endorsing bad candidates.  God help us if Trump endorses Kanye West.

Debt is Debt

Make sure your ass smells like lavender before you complain about the smell of other people's asses.  I do feel the right to call folks hypocrites for complaining about $10,000 in debt forgiveness when they have received debt forgiveness of their own...no matter the magnitude.  As far as I'm concerned the student loan forgiveness money comes out of the same magical pot as the PPP loan pot.  

After having my paychecks garnished for five years and making payments to the Department of Education for three years, I had Lady Karma take a picture of me putting an envelope into a mailbox.  That envelope was my last student loan payment.  I was (and still am) obsessed with being free from debt.  I wanted to make money off a degree and didn't want to owe anyone money for it.   You tend to take better care of a car when it is paid off and you have no car note.  

A debt it a debt, not matter what the debt is.  Some folks do not like having the debt monkey on their back and for others, they are so used to the monkey their backs don't hurt anymore.  People that didn't go to college or people who paid their debts do have the right to say "what's in it for me", but they don't have the right to make the assumption that everyone receiving $10,000 to $20,000 in debt forgiveness is an unmotivated deadbeat.  

This is what sucks: money management is not taught in High Schools.  Teenagers are encouraged to go blindly into college where tuition is skyrocketing and credit card companies are there waiting with pre-approved applications.  Swiping a credit card for pizza is lot more appetizing than spicing up your ramen noodles with chopped hot dogs.  As a result (if they are lucky to graduate) we have an army of folks with four year degrees, no "on-the-job" experience, and five (sometimes six) figures in debt.  I was one of the lucky few to stumble upon a great career while I was still an undergrad.  

I'd like for the kids to know that if they buy a pack of Skittles on a credit card, they have to pay the credit card company back, with interest.  You are not as attached to the money if it is in plastic form.  It's harder to hand a cashier a $20 bill than it is to stick a piece of plastic in a machine.  I'd like for them to know that when they fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), that is not imaginary paper money...and you are NOT guaranteed a six figure income immediately after you graduate.  

I guess the only thing that was in it for me was about a decade of having good credit, ungarnished paychecks, and not having a monkey on my back.  I'm not resentful, but I do hope everyone knows that this type of forgiveness isn't going to be the norm.  My children will know that spending plastic money has more consequences than spending paper money.  It sucks that the BMW with the $600 car note is a more desired status symbol than the paid-off Chevy. 

$10,000 won't even get you three semesters at most institutions of higher education...and tuition will continue to rise.  

Random Mind Dumplings 34

Well it took 14 years of blogging to get to my 34th Random Mind Dumplings entry.  To commemorate this "milestone", the first dumpling will be dedicated to a famous football player who wore the number 34!  Enjoy!!!

Herschel Walker #34 isn't a Republican, he just does what he's told, just like on the football field.  I hope he has good "Coaches" when it comes to politics.  He is going to have to run against someone who has political experience and didn't have to lie about graduating from college.

There seems to be a loyalty contest amongst #45's Acolytes.  The FBI raids his house...now they hate the FBI.  If he died of a heart attack, I wonder how many of them would become atheists since God made him suffer death through natural causes.  

I bet if Donald went down to South Carolina and slapped Lindsey Graham's boyfriend, Senator Graham would make his boyfriend apologize.  If Donald said that light bulbs are fake, there would be some folks out there trashing Thomas Edison.  

Liz Cheney made a deal with the devil in 2016 to spare America from Clinton.  Her political career is pretty much over in the GOP because she not only demanded a refund, she told the store owner to fuck himself.  She's going to lose her job because she made a deal instead of selling her soul.

There are others out there that have sold their soul and their only dignity is defending the receipt.  The rest of their career will be dependant on justifying (and defending) what they have done.  The person they denied to be a Supreme Court Justice is now the person going after their disgraced Florida resident and one-term president.  

I actually feel sorry for certain politicians.  They have to rely on the dumbest and most gullible constituents to keep their jobs and stay in office.  Some of them are forced to spend more time looking for Obama's birth certificate, Hillary's e-mails, and Hunter Biden's Laptop, than looking into the folks that tried to zip-tie them and other members of congress on January 6th.

We live in a day and age where someone can get caught on camera doing something, deny it, and people will believe that person because it will push their political narrative.  Saving face is more important than saving morality.  Saying "It's not my fault" is more fashionable than saying "I fucked up."

The word "Woke" is being used too much.  Either by dumb ass folks using it as an insult, or by other folks making fun of the dumb ass folks using it as an insult.  I have more respect for people that correctly use the word "Bigly" and "Covfefe".  The depressing thing is...all three words put in quotations on this Dumpling will most-likely become official words in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary very soon along with "friended" and "re-tweet".   

I will never be concerned over a pending Civil War in America.  1860 was a regional issue dealing with different economies and policies at a fragile time in this nation's history.  There will never be two organized armies against each other in this country from now on.  Just some domestic terrorists that will get arrested or killed just to impress their Orange Messiah and his Sidekicks.   

I am not a huge Biden fan.  But he is showing more resilience and class than those that want to derail him simply because they didn't vote for him.  I don't see him taking the fifth amendment anytime soon nor after his presidency.  

Loyalty comes with a price that most hypocrites do not want to pay.  Especially when their Messiah ends up being a false Prophet promising to make America great again.  These are folks that would rather double-down on their pride than making progress and moving on.  

The door of disrespect will always swing both ways!

Pro Choice vs. Pro Hypocrisy

The only Pro-Life people I will respect and take seriously are the ones that are "Pro-Life" AFTER after it exits the vagina.

The overturning of Roe vs. Wade does not currently affect me.  The primary reason why I am Pro-Choice is because I will never know what it is like to be pregnant nor terminate a pregnancy.  I do not have the same plumbing as a Woman.  I cannot put myself in their shoes when it comes to carrying and birthing a child.  Since I don't have a passionate opinion on matters that don't directly affect me, I often wonder why others do.  

Terminating a pregnancy has its repercussions and I am sure everyone knows that...even the folks brazen enough to use it as a form of birth control.  Abortion reminds me of suicide except, in most cases, people that get abortions have to live with their choice.  I am willing to assume that abortions are not premeditated nor celebrated by the recipients.  

I personally am against abortion and think it should be the last resort, but I don't think I have the right to stop a woman from going down that road if she wants to do so.  Especially if it is a choice made for medical reasons.  I am seriously against folks that turn their earlobes into weird looking donuts using those wooden circular pegs as if they are a member of an African Tribe, but that is their prerogative.  

I do have some angst against the folks celebrating as if they won some great victory.  I think the majority of the people celebrating the SCOTUS overturning a 50 year right aren't lining up to adopt children.  It would be more believable that they would push their teenage daughter down the stairs after finding out that they got knocked up by one of the undesirables. I think they are celebrating because the people they disagree with have suffered a setback.  Pro-Life folks don't frequent orphanages, fund school lunches, child services, or volunteer to babysit when a child's single mother has to work her second or third job.  

I'd like some of these Pro-Life folks to show some support to all of these lives that they have saved instead of sporting "if you can't feed them, don't breed them" bumper stickers on their pickup trucks with a ball sack hanging from the trailer hitch.  You would rather be in control instead of being humane.  Stop pretending as if you will give a shit about these kids AFTER they are born.  

The fact of the matter is, the majority of aborted fetuses are minorities that you wouldn't have given a shit about to begin with. Let's get political here...some folks really want to build a wall to stop unaborted children from entering this country (from the Southern border of course...non-aborted babies from Canada are cool...right?).  Your concern over fetuses should extend to the pregnant women that don't look like you.

To the crew on the other side of the debate, let's not pretend that the SCOTUS is going to go after same-sex marriage and interracial marriage next.  That is a tactic that your opponents use similar to "those damn Libs are gonna take our guns next" syndrome.  Although I am not aware of a Republican politician that is openly gay, I think there are enough GOP folks and their supporters that are still in the closet and the debate will be tabled for a while or probably not brought up at all.  Let us not forget that a certain conservative Justice is in an interracial marriage himself.  Yes, he is a hypocrite, but I do not think he would incorporate a rule that would make his own marriage illegal.  The current Vice President might have something to say about that as well.  

Are there any Pro-Life folks out there that were also Anti-Mask?  I'm just wondering   Trump probably would have made the 2020 election more interesting if many of his anti-masking supporters didn't die of Covid.  

Funerals & Finger-Pointing

Although I am a big advocate of "mourning first and pointing fingers later," I can't help but to get caught up in the drama of both factions.  One faction is offering more strict gun laws as a solution.  The other faction is offering "thoughts and prayers."  It sucks that politics is overshadowing a great tragedy but that's the American way.  Every bad thing that happens is the fault of people who don't vote the same way you do.  I'm done mourning so let me start my rant.

A special word to the folks bringing up the Book of Genesis and the fact that God banished Cain for killing Abel, not the rock:  I am pretty damn sure the Uvalde death toll would have been slightly lower if that lunatic walked in there with a rock instead of an AR-15.  Please don't quote a book that was written before guns were invented.  The parents of the deceased children (some of them are devoted Catholics) don't want to hear that shit.  What good is banishing a killer that's already dead?

A special word to the folks saying that the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun:  What happens between the time the bad guy starts shooting and the good guy starts shooting back?  A proactive bad guy has an advantage of the reactive good guy.  The good guys with guns waited a good 45 minutes before shooting back.  The good guy with a gun in Buffalo is dead.  Why aren't we offering "thoughts and prayers" to police officers who are killed by their own service weapons?

A special word to the folks mentioning that we did not ban planes after 9/11.  A group of radicals got access to a plane and killed thousands.  The key word is access! As a result, law abiding citizens have to ditch their shampoo and receive rectal exams before getting on a flight for the last two decades.  Since then there hasn't been that many planes intentionally flying into buildings.

Three things are needed in a mass shooting:

1. A Killer

2. A Gun

3. Bullets

Without a killer a gun is useless.  Without bullets a gun is useless.  Do you see the common factor here?  If the killer never existed, the tragedy never would have happened.  If the killer walked into the school with a gun with no bullets, he would have gotten his ass kicked.  

Please don't assume that I am anti-gun.  I am a proud owner of a Remington 870 pump action shotgun, I just don't have this desire to casually carry it into an Applebees.  Not only do I have a house to protect but I have two daughters who will eventually bring by boyfriends that I will need to intimidate.  However there is a difference between people like me and people that think that the addition of more guns is a solution to gun violence.  

Since I have mocked the people comparing guns to rocks and airplanes, I'll go ahead and make a comparison and feel free to mock me:  Opioid overdoses are a problem because the wrong folks are getting ahold of them.  Opioids do not need to be outlawed, they need to be controlled.  Mass shootings are a problem because the wrong folks are getting ahold of guns.  Guns do not need to be outlawed, they need to be controlled.  

Don't get me started on comparing abortions to school shootings.  

Yes, if a criminal wants to get a gun, they'll get one anyway off the street.  There is nothing wrong with suggesting that the seller of the weapon to a criminal should face a harsher punishment compared to someone peddling opioids.  There is nothing wrong into making sure the person you are selling a gun to isn't a deranged psychopath *cough...background checks...cough*.  There is nothing wrong with holding parents accountable when they provide their minor children with rifles and someone dies as a result *cough...Kyle Rittenhouse...cough*.  

Wouldn't it be ironic if there was a mass shooting at the NRA convention???

Taking a step in the right direction is better than not taking any steps at all.

Archaic Patriots

I would like to target the people that scream at the top of their lungs about black-on-black crime only when a white person commits a mass shooting.  Black on black crime is one thing; a terrible thing. A dude that wakes up in the morning with the intent to kill people of a certain skin tone is another.  It is easy to assume that if a black man kills another it is not over a race war. This is the reason why we distinguish hate crimes from other crimes.  Hate crime is very preventable.

When does a "Patriot" become a "mentally disturbed individual"?  When they commit a mass shooting, that's when!  When does a Patriot concerned about being "replaced" become abandoned by the folks that pedal "replacement theory"?  When they commit a mass shooting, that's when!  If You have to officially announce that you only want to kill people outside your race to be designated a racist, then we have a problem.  

Keep in mind that I went to school with folks that felt like they were being replaced the second month of every year whenever Black History Month was celebrated and when the BET channel was first announced.  They lost their minds when they had to sacrifice one of their 12 months and one of their 50 channels (it was the 90's) on something that wasn't catered to them.  

They did not know how to react to few of the females of their "ilk" being enamored by men that weren't white; they felt they were being replaced.  I am still dealing with a few "part-time Christians" that don't have a problem with interracial marriage but don't want their children to be exposed to a successful functioning interracial family.  I guess no one is racist until different color branches threaten to grow on their family tree.  

Isn't weird how certain "Patriots" didn't come out of the woodwork until a certain individual started kneeling during the anthem?  It's not what they were doing that pissed of the Patriots, it was why they were doing it.  "I'm not a Racist, I am a Patriot" needs to the be the new bumper sticker for the folks hanging truck nuts on the back of their car.

*The ancestors of some of the folks freaking out about being replaced were replacers themselves.  

*Technically, in the future, the Buffalo mass shooting can't be discussed in schools because it would be considered Critical Race Theory.

*I wonder if a certain demographic take comfort in knowing that they can do whatever they want because the local authorities will most likely take them in alive.

We must highlight the divide between Patriots and Bigots.  You can't embrace America if you don't embrace Americans.  I'm am sure there were plenty of "Patriots" that felt like their votes were being replaced when they stormed the capital.  These Patriots only like certain Americans under certain conditions.  They are not going to be replaced, they are just going out of style.  

Marjorie Failure Green & Frat Gaetz

What better way to sum up the southeastern corner of our Democratic Republic with the new generation of headline makers pretending to be politicians?  If you are on TMZ more than C-SPAN, there is a good chance you are in Washington D.C. for all of the wrong reasons.  Marjorie Taylor Greene takes the gold and Matt Gaetz takes the silver in the Dumbass Politician Olympics.  We'll talk about the bronze winner in the Tar Heel state, Madison Cawthorne, some other time.  

I am not one of those folks that accuses everyone who disagrees with me of being a racist.  I'm picking a fight with one of those folks that accuses everyone who disagrees with them as a pedophile.  I would like to address the folks with the "my way or the highway" mentality.  This whole I didn't vote for that person, so everything they say is false mantra is getting old.

Georgia's Greene and Florida's Gaetz are folks stuck between a constitutional rock and a hard place made up of dumb-ass constituents.  The passions of the misinformed aunts and bigoted uncles are bleeding into congress primarily because their votes are worth the same as...well...smart people's votes.  If you have to cater to the uninformed, you in-turn have to pretend to be uninformed.  If a substantial portion of your voters are members of the Klan, guess what you have to pretend to be like???

True; on the left "The Squad" has made headlines with their progressive comments, initiatives, and ideas, but have they made themselves ineligible to run for office while doing so?  There is a group of unsophisticated individuals that think they can bring down a sitting president based on his son's transactions.  These individuals are probably still looking for Obama's birth certificate.  Their fingernails are nonexistent because of scraping the bottom of the barrell.  

When you are called to the carpet and you have to pretend to be less-informed than you actually are, you are guilty.  We live in a day and age where it is more difficult to lie and deny shit because everything is being recorded, archived and analized.  Sure, delete the tweet...people still can take screenshots.  MGT can NEVER complain about being harassed and stalked because she is on record of harassing and stalking people she has disagreed with in the past.

Georgia is a beautiful and diverse State.  It has is swaths of conservative rural territories and deposits of liberal urban ideologies in the pockets in this state where large cities exist.  MGT represents a group of folks that still think that the punishment for not complying with mask mandates is equivalent to being sent to a gas chamber for being Jewish and/or not supporting the Third Reich.  For every "defund the police" outlier, there is a "the election was stolen" skeptic.  The Frat Boy from Florida and the Klan Mom from Georgia are just pandering towards their unsophisticated base.  

I'm not saying that all Klan Members in Georgia and Florida are Marjorie "Failure" Greene and "Frat" Gaetz supporters, I'm just saying I don't think any of them have ever voted Democrat.  

The Substantial Cost of Pride

 

Happy Sunday!  I just got back from vacation and I am ready to be bitch-slapped by Monday.  It's been about two weeks...I figured I could finally throw my two cents into the Slap Heard Around The World.

On the twelve anniversary of my marriage to Lady Karma, Will Smith paid a ten year price to defend his pride for ten seconds.  The difficulty of parallel parking increases when more people are watching; the cost of defending your pride increases when more people are watching as well.  If this slap happened backstage in a dressing room, we would not be talking about it.

I will admit, I am being somewhat of a Monday morning Quarterback here.  I think what Will did was wrong, but I am also guilty of doing stupid stuff at the spurt of the moment just to regret it later.  Although it is true that "love will make you do some crazy things", pride will make you do crazier things.  We can't get love and pride confused.  I have often daydreamed of slapping someone simply because they thought I wouldn't.  I never daydream about paying the price for it though.

When you walk into a fight, you have to think of the consequences of that fight even if you know you are going to win.  It is easy to speculate that Chris Rock would have been the bad guy if Will Smith would have stayed in his seat.  Chris would have been known as someone who may have stepped over the line and Will would have been respected as the one who had restraint.  Instead it is now the other way around.  I honestly don't think Chris wanted to hurt feelings here.  Jada is BEAUTIFUL with or without hair and I am sure Chris knows that.  

Pride will also make folks do stupid stuff when they think they are going to get away with it.  I am not sure what Will was thinking when he walked off stage, but I hope he did not think he was going to get away with it without any consequences.  He is very lucky Chris didn't take him to court, there were millions of witnesses after all.  

I hate that this happened.  It will be a stain on two great careers in entertainment.  Will was once the rapper that never cussed and never said the "N" word in his songs.  Now he will be known as the dude that screamed the "F" word to an international audience.  Chris will be known as the comedian that was slapped by Will.

What are the consequences of swallowing your pride?  Yes, if someone walked up to Lady Karma and called her a Bitch, I would love to beat them until my knuckles bled.  However, I don't think Lady Karma would want me to go to jail for it.  I didn't marry a Bitch...Lady Karma knows she is not a Bitch.  I highly doubt Will is chillin' at home thinking "that was soooooo worth it" as his future movie deals are dwindling and his endorsements are evaporating.  I was looking forward to Bad Boys 4.  

If anything, I have learned from this.  It is good to have pride but it is bad to defend it when it is not necessary.  Sometimes the thought of knowing you can kick someone's ass should be comfort enough than just...you know...kicking their ass.  Sometimes you have to just look at folks and say, "you are not worth the jail time for what I will do to you."

No one has been arrested for walking away from a fight.  Allow me refer to a quote from one of the best movies of the 90's Pulp Fiction:

"The night of the fight, you may feel a slight sting.  That's pride fucking with you.  Fuck pride!  Pride only hurts, it never helps."

Oh, and for the record...G.I. Jane is a GREAT movie.  

When An Ego Rules A Country...

 ...A World War Is The Result.  

The world isn't stupid.  Everybody knows that Ukraine "wanted" to be liberated by Russia.  Even pro Putin folks know this is wrong, but they have the most to benefit from the wrong doing.  When you have to do something wrong to get your desired result, it is natural to try your best to convince it is necessary.  It is natural to believe anything that justifies what you have done.  It is natural to want to surround yourself with others that feel the same way.

Putin knows that his popularity dropped when he invaded Ukraine just like Hitler invaded Poland.  But if the Bully that starts the big fight wins the big fight, the Bully is emboldened.  Trump is a bully who started a big fight between the political parties and got his ass kicked.  Putin is a bully who was...let's just say emboldened.  He was emboldened when nothing was done when he jacked around with Georgia.  He was emboldened when nothing was done when he jacked around with Crimea.  

When Egos get emboldened, those Egos start wars.  

Could the potential WWIII be the fight Putin starts that will eventually humble him?  Emboldened egos are the hardest to humble.  "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth," the famous quotation by Boxer Mike Tyson rings a bell here (see what I did there?).  Who is going to be the one who initiates the Punch?  Who is going to bruise this flawless Ego?

When there is a pissing contest between two leaders, the people who get pissed on are those who are lead by the leaders.  Putin and his advisors are pissing all of the the people of Russia.  There is nothing more dangerous than a Man who can do what he wants knowing he will get away with it.  Putin has cost the folks of Russia the pleasure of enjoying Big Macs for the sake of starting a fight with a country that simply wanted to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.  Putin is the disgruntled ex-boyfriend who got mad when his ex-girlfriend started courting NATO.  NATO has a bigger penis than Putin.  Ukraine was "faking it" when it was a part of the USSR during the cold war.  

The piss is trickling in America in the form of high gas prices.  Of course the "Let's Go Brandon" folks are blaming the current administration.  Of course we live in a country that is united against the thought of high gas prices.  It sucks that we live in a country that will spend more time arguing over the cause than time spent on working on a solution.  I wonder if those shirts that say "I'd Rather Be Russian Than Be A Democrat" shirts are still being bought up by the same folks who defended our American flag during the National Anthem.

Random Mind Dumplings 33

The "I hate him because I didn't vote for him" crowd has looked a lot differently this past year.  I'll give you two guesses as to why...but you'll only need one.  Do we live in a dysfunctional country of sore losers and ungrateful winners?

I'd say so.  I'm old enough to remember the days of when they would hang the pictures of electected officials in government buildings and it wouldn't be controversial.  In the movie Scarface, there is a picture of Jimmy Carter hanging from the US Immigration Office.

Back then, this would not be a controversial thing.  Folks would get elected...then people would move on.  Put a picture of Obama, Trump, or Biden anywhere and people would lose their minds.  Boycotts, Petitions, and Firings...Oh My!

So where do we draw the line?  When will you see that this is a pissing match between two groups that would rather profit off of the deliberate divide instead of fixing the country?  If a member of the Black Panther Party and a Klansman had to work together to save the life of a drowning child, would they?

I will admit, I have never seen a "Let's go Brandon" shirt out there, but I know they exist.  I have never seen a "Fuck Trump" shirt out there, but I know they exist.  I also know the people that are dumb enough to wear them in public in front of children is just as thirsty as their opponents.  

With that being said, I fixed the previous political cartoon.  Either the woman in the carton is raising a complete moron, or the girl in pink pretty much knows what "Let's Go Brandon" means.  Any parent knows that children have a way of remembering shit you wish they'd forget. 

Social medial will never forget the defenders of the men who lynched Arbery and the folks that bent over backwards to justify Floyd's homicide.  These folks may have to explain this if they ever want to obtain an elected position.  If you go on social media stating that Coca-Cola is the best beverage on the face of the planet and then God comes down from heaven drinking an ice cold Pepsi, people will use screenshots of your post in justifying why you shouldn't be allowed in heaven. 

That is basically what will happen when you wear your opinions and passions on your sleeve.  Every natural human being has some inconsistencies and hypocrisies in them.  Just like the Miranda Rights, anything you say on social media can and will be held against you in the court of public opinion when you are proven wrong.  

People that humble themselves and apologize when they are wrong are the only ones I respect.  If you you are silent when you are wrong but can't keep your mouth shut when you are right - this entire Mind Dumpling was for you.
