Random Mind Dumplings 25

My heart is broken for all of the lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  In a crazy world where people are starting to get "desensitized" to the idea of a mad gunman committing mass murder, no one can imagine the idea of the mass murder taking place at an ELEMENTARY school.  My only wish is that people will put away their political and religious soapboxes and mourn for a while.

Military Wives should be honored on Veteran's Day also.

I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if Jesus, in fact, had a wife.  Even though he is believed to be the son of God, he was still human.  Why wouldn't he have a wife?  Christians believe he was the son of God...but he was also human...right?

I have no big opinion on the legalization of weed in Colorado and Washington.  What I am interested in is the effect this law will have on the crime rate.  If officers are able to dedicate more time to violent offenses, will the violent offenses decline?  I'm also interested to see if the sales of Doritos increases.

Twinkies and Wonderbread are two of the most recent casualties in the War on Greed.  Whenever this is a struggle involving a Union, both sides lose if a solution is not reached.  Both sides were bluffing...and then the bluff was called.  The only victor would be the Union Bosses but that would only be a temporary victory.  You wont be employed long if everyone you represent is unemployed.

Although Christmas is all about the "giving," we should focus on what we are giving and who we are giving it too.  Sometimes, what you do for someone you don't know means more than what you do for someone you already know.

My first Christmas as a father will be an easy one.  She will have fun playing with all of the boxes that her toys came in.

The Mayans forgot to consider "leap day" in their doomsday calendar.  If there was a meteor headed towards the earth to kill us all, we would be able to see it by now.  I am confident that on the morning of Saturday December 22, 2012, America will wake up, drink their coffee, and start complaining about everything again.

Gun Control is going to be the heated topic during this winter season.  It is going to spilt this country in half once again.  Half of the country is going lobby for more gun control while the other half is going to blame Obama for everything.

Rich people still have day-to-day worries just like regular people...they just don't have to worry about money as much as regular people do.

You Are Now Free To Leave The Country

To me, November 6, 2012 was a very important day.  It was so important, I took the day off of work.  The evening of the election I stayed up late, glued to the TV, and I only took short breaks to use the restroom and grab a bite to eat.  It has been two weeks since that fateful evening where I waited in line for an hour, eagerly anticipating...the midnight release of Halo 4!!!

Also, I heard that the President got reelected.

Before you label me as unpatriotic, I voted early on Saturday November 3rd.  Lady Karma and I decided to get it out of the way.  We didn't want to be stuck in a long line on the day of the election plus we already know who we were going to vote for anyway, so what's the purpose of waiting?  The majority of the country should have voted early because the majority of the country already knew who they were going to vote for years ago (even before Romney got the GOP nomination).  It was obvious that this was a Pro-Obama vs. Anti-Obama election.

It's nice to sit back and analyze the ungracious winners and sore losers during the post-election turmoil.  One thing the ungracious winners need to notice is that this election was closer than the 2008 beat down.  There is going to be more resentment coming from the scorned Conservatives in future elections.  There are a few of you out there celebrating, and I don't understand why.  There should have been a a collective Democratic "sigh of relief" instead of celebrations.  This simply means Obama has four more years of trying to grease the many squeaky wheels in the country.

So there are a handful of States circulating petitions to secede from the Union?  This is my favorite subset of sore losers who feel as if their individual state would prosper if they were no longer considered one of the United States of America.  It is also ironic how secession is being discussed right around the time an Abraham Lincoln biopic is going to be released.  Let me get this right, "You want your state to operate as its own Country because you are upset on who was elected president?" Secession is pretty much impossible in this day and age, so you might as well move to Canada...but beware...their Health Care system sounds a whole lot like this Obama Care thing you despise.

My second favorite subset are the voters who honestly believe that God is a Republican.  There were a bunch of dumb asses on Facebook consoling and reassuring each other that "God is in control."  No matter who is in charge of this country, "God will take care of us," right?  If that was the case, what was the point of voting anyway?  Wasn't God in control of the election too?  "Public announcement..this is God.  There will be no need to go to the polls today...I've got this!"  Or was God stuck in traffic on some interstate in Ohio and didn't get to the polls in time?  If God wanted Romney as President, he would campaigned for him!  "I'm God, and I approved this message...Amen!"  And for those who said pleaded for everybody to "Pray for our Country," I really find it strange that you would want to pray for a Country, but not a Country's leader.

Funny how Donald Trump has issues with how the voting was counted and doubts the results.  He never doubted the results from the vote count on "The Apprentice."  He has more faith in the people who watch his show than the people who showed up at the polls.  Romney should have "fired" him a long time ago.  Now you see why I placed more emphasis on a video game than the election results.  I knew that no matter what, the next morning half the population would be celebrating and the other half would be bitching.

Political Warfare & Religious Warefare

Obama and Romney agreed to have no negative political ads and campaign driven statements on September 11th out of respect for the tragedies America sustained on that day...Romney prematurely ejaculated in the eleventh hour.  He could have waited until 11:59 p.m. to critique Obama on his response to what happened in the middle east.  November is going to be interesting...
OK, in a nutshell, a 14 minute film produced by an Muslimphobe on YouTube sparks outrage amongst the Muslims in the middle east.  In this film the Prophet Muhammad is portrayed to be a pedophile, a homosexual, as well as a womanizer (a very busy man...allegedly).  First of all, any portrayal of Muhammad is deemed highly offensive.  If you recall, there was a cartoonist from Denmark who portrayed Muhammad in a cartoon which really pissed off people of the Muslim Faith.  South Park thought about it...but Comedy Central tanked their efforts to portray Muhammad in an episode.  Hence, one cannot be surprised that the Muslims in the middle east are highly pissed off at this film...to to actually kill an American Diplomat over it...that's insane!
Or is it?  Although there are reports that the death of our Ambassador to Libya assassination was a calculated effort amongst Al Queda, the Muslim outrage does not surprise me.  Most laid back "I Don't Give A Shit" Americans like myself would first wonder "why are they holding a whole country responsible for a video made by an individual?"
Perhaps because these are Countries were religion is taken far more seriously than we take religion in this country.  Think about it, religion is more of a way of life to a Muslim than it is to a Christian.  We live in a country were a group of students that desire to hold hands around a flagpole in the morning and pray in front of a high school would fail in comparison to the group of students that would simply walk past them and go to class.  Although the "separation between church and state" is not a law, it is commonly referenced at the first sign of religious and governmental fornication.
The middle east will never understand that religion in America is more of a side bar.  We are more concerned about catching every episode of the last season of the Jersey Shore than we are about our Bible verses.  In this country, a Catholic man can marry a Protestant woman without being judged harshly by his community.  Technically, I would get immediately thrown in jail if I killed someone simply because they made fun of Jesus Christ...the Judge would say "damn, Karma takes religion seriously!!!"  Most sane Americans can understand that if they see something offensive, it is most likely the efforts of a group of people and not a massive political agenda.  If I saw a video of ten people from Sweden chanting "kill all of the niggers" I would not make an assassination attempt to the Swedish Ambassador.
I can see why they are pissed off, but I can't see why they are pissed off at America.  Just because the movie came from this country does not mean our country supports it.  Anyone can put shit up on YouTube even anti-Muslims!!!  I have often wondered, if I put out an awesome pro-Muslim video on the YouTube, if the countries in the middle east would embrace our country and start flying our flags again...probably not.  It wouldn't get any "views."  I guess this world is hell bent on negativity.  I will not be a hypocrite.  I will not hold the country of Libya responsible for the murder of an American Diplomat.  But I will watch very closely at how Libya deals with these murderers they have arrested.

Random Mind Dumplings 24

*Regardless of who you are voting for, if you were to go back in time to the 1920's presidential election and told people that in the year 2012 the two main candidates were named "Barak Obama" and "Mitt Romney" they would wonder what the hell people were naming their children in the future.  They sound like names from characters from the Hunger Games or something.

*I'm so glad all of that Chick-Fil-A bullshit has blown over.  Only in America can the comments of a fast food chain executive have such an huge impact on people's lives.  We've got to find other shit to worry about...

*This two party system has pretty much screwed up American politics.  If Romney is elected, there is just going to be a shitload of disgruntled Democrats who will endorse an Anti-Romney Congress.  There are too many "followers" out there that are voting for an established set of ideals...not an individual politician.

*Hurricane Isaac was neither a Democrat nor a Republican.  Isaac is a member of the Green Party!  The political cartoon above kinda bothered Lady Karma (who is a "Conservative" but not necessarily a Republican).  She insists that the Republican Party does not hate gays.  True, I don't think that all of them "hate" gays, but there is some homophobia present.  The classification of a homosexual relationship doesn't really affect Republican lives and how they live it...yet the main reason why they are so vocal against it is because "marriage is defined as being between a Man and a Woman."  Last time I checked, Gays weren't trying to change the Biblical definition of marriage.  They just want to walk down an isle and file taxes differently.

*And don't think I'm easy going on the Democrats.  Start exploiting WHY Obama should be re-elected and stop putting so much emphasis on why Romney is not the man for the job.  Anticipate the rehearsed grievances against the current administration an prepare a rebuttal (based on your own research...that I hope you are conducting). Likewise for the other side.

*I wonder how much more attention would have been brought to the Aurura massacre if this wasn't an election year.  This story was a distraction from politics and politics was a distraction from this story.  It was a "nice" gesture for both candidates to withdraw their negative ads against each other for the September 11 anniversary.
*True, Joe Biden might screw up from time to time...to time...to time, you know what I mean.  But tell me...when was the last time you had so much fun with a Vice President???

*Um...as Joe Biden,Vice President to the first Black President, this man doesn't have to worry much about catering to his Black Audience.  How the hell can anyone be offended at the "y'all back in chains" comment?  Do you think he would knowingly PISS OFF his primary voter demographic?  If you think really long and hard about it you'd realize...he fucked up again...that's all.

*Can Vegetarians give blow jobs?

*I honestly do not think the GOP party is anti-woman.  They just need to come up with better reasons as to why a woman cannot have the option of terminating a pregnancy that was caused by a rape.

Random Mind Dumplings 23

I have developed a habit of not getting worked up over issues that don't affect me directly.  It is a healthy habit that many dumbasses that like to whine and argue just can't seem to pick up.

Raise you hand if you have read the entire Obamacare law!  That's what I thought...no one.

Are you voting for Romney because he is not Obama or because you believe he has what it takes to help this country?  Are you voting for Obama because he is not Romney or because you believe he is currently helping this country?  Are you feed up with politics and picking the lesser of two evils?

No matter who is in control of this country, you should pretty damn grateful that you are an American.  I wish these sons of bitches threatening to leave the country if Obama is elected again would leave now.  If Romney is elected, the value of my house is not going to skyrocket.  If Obama is elected again, this will still be a country were people have the right to outwardly bash him and blame him for all of their problems.

The majority of the people that freak out over illegal immigration probably wouldn't take any of these "jobs" the illegal immigrants are "taking" from us.  My only gripe with illegal immigrants would be the fact that they don't pay taxes...that's about it.  As a matter of fact, that should be the only stipulation for American Citizenship.  If you agree to pay American taxes...WELCOME TO AMERICA!

If you can't handle people challenging your opinion, you should keep you opinion to yourself.  Your right to your opinion does not trump other people's right to ask you if you know what the fuck you are talking about.

There is still a group of people out there completely oblivious to the fact that the fragile thin line between their professional life and their personal life is continuously being erased by Facebook.  Unless you don't have a problem washing dishes or flipping burgers, don't put pictures of yourself smoking blunts and giving the finger on your Facebook page.

Do you know why I don't really give a shit about Gay Marriage?  Because it doesn't affect me!  Most Gay people pay taxes just like I do.  If they want to walk down the isle, exchange rings, change their last names, get on each other's insurance policies and all shit, SO BE IT!  God did not send you on a personal mission to prevent this from happening.  If anything, God sent you down here to mind your own business.

The Dawn of Cyber Racism

Mr. Joel Ward scored the winning goal of a NHL playoff game for the Washington Capitals which ended season for the Boston Bruins.  Immediately afterwards a plethora of hockey fans got on twitter to vent.  They didn't vent about Bruins loosing to the Capitals..they vented about the Bruins loosing to "a nigger."  The funny thing is, chirpstory.com compiled a lot of these tweets and posted the identity of the individuals who posted the racial tweets and made them available to the public.  Since then several of the tweeters either deleted their accounts or hid their tweets.  The other tweeters either negatively reacted to the backlash of their tweets, or proclaimed that they were not racist.

True, using the word Nigger does not make you a racist...it makes you a complete dumbass.  This goes for black people as well.  Yes, there are some black people out there that constantly use the word Nigger, but how many of them are smart?  White people who use the word nigger are either afraid of black people or jealous of them.  It is my honest opinion that 95% of non-black people that use the word nigger would not call a black person a nigger to their face. The majority of the population knows that a non-black person calling a black person a nigger will most likely lead to anger and/or hostility...so it is safe to say that when non-black people use the word nigger, they should not be surprised at what happens next.

When outward racism slowly became unpopular after the civil rights movement, closet racism became rampant.  It seems like closet racism and the technology boom gave birth to the dawn of Cyber Racism.  It's when you try your best to voice your bigoted opinion about races other than yours while hiding behind the anonymity and security of the Internet.  I've been called a nigger by other players on Xbox Live on many occasions, but I was quick to remind those players that the only reason why they feel comfortable calling me that is because they know I have no way of finding out who they were and locating them.

Things are changing though.  The anonymity of the Internet is slowly fading.  Divorce lawyers are accessing facebook pages and using the contents as evidence in trials.  Employers are starting to discipline and/or fire employees for the shit they put on the Internet.  Going on the web and spouting out from the mouth has its consequences although most of them will not be immediate.  Of course, in America we all have the freedom of speech, but we are not exempt from the fallout that our speech garners.  Sure, you have the freedom to call your boss a complete asshole, but your right to free speech does not guarantee that you'll keep your job afterwards.

Cyber Racism and Cyber Bullying are pretty much on the same wavelength.  These actions are for the people too scared to confront and criticize their opponents in-person so they use social media instead.  In this day and age, it is now uncool to be prejudice or racist unless you have a small circle of socially inept friends who feel the same way.  I'm sure the racist tweets were sent by people who thought that they were only talking to the people on the Internet felt the same way...their socially inept circle of friends...their "followers."  The Internet is different now.

Joel Ward is a class act that I hope many young men follow one day.  He shrugged off the comments and the tweets.  “It doesn’t faze me at all,” Ward told USA TODAY Sports. “We won, and we are moving on. … People are going to say what they want to say.”

It's much harder not to be prejudice which is not the same as racist.  Racism is action, prejudice is more of a thought process.  A prejudice store owner would watch a black teen very carefully as he enters his place of  business.  A racist store owner would not let the black teen in the store in the first place.  I believe that the majority of the tweets by the disgruntled hockey fans are your typical prejudice people.  I don't think that they are going out and lynching black people and spray painting KKK all over everything...but I do think they are dumbasses for putting it on the Internet and not expecting any backlash at all.

Random Mind Dumplings 22

*Be careful whenever you use the word "never." "Never" is a very long time.
*Ted Nugent is a musical genius, but a political dumbass.  I find it very hard to believe that the Obama Administration has made his life so miserable the past four years, that he feels the need to declare that he will either "be dead or in jail or dead by this time next year" if Obama wins in November.
*When the Secret Service finally saddles up their Colombian Poon-tang bill, perhaps they can come back to the States to keep a close eye on Nugent.
*The Saints were doing what every other football team has been doing for years, they just got caught, that's all.  They had one of their most successful years when they were participating in the Bounty Program.

*You'll never know who will stumble upon your facebook page one day.  Although most employers cannot legally request passwords, you don't need a facebook password to find out some crazy shit about people.  Everyone has dirt...not everyone has their dirt available online...

*I used to complain about high gas prices...until I realized that my complaints had no impact on the high gas prices.  I then stopped complaining.  Has anyone ever analyzed the success rate of "complaining?"

*I think the Mayans knew that Dick Clark was going to die this year...that could explain why New Years Rockin' Eve 2012-2013 isn't on their calendar.

*Jeremy Lin's 15 minutes of NBA fame maybe over for the season due to his meniscus tear in his knee, but he still has a degree out of Harvard.  The moral of this one-sentence story:  a good education can survive any sports injury.  I'd hate to sound like an "after school special" but damnit, it's the truth.

*To me, Politics is a form of competition entertainment, like a reality show.  Politicians compete for a Title (or position) and after the competition is over, I get to listen to people complain about the outcome until the next season (or election) commences.

*Definition: Domestic Control Freaks - A parent who uses their "concern" for the well-being of their children to dictate what is allowable and available in modern day pop culture.  I will use this term in my next mind dumpling below.

*The Norway Massacre mastermind Anders Behring Breivik mentioned that he "trained" for this crime of killing 77 people by playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.  I'll be damned of a shitload of Domestic Control Freaks decide to go after the whole gaming franchise because of the actions of one delusional asshole.

Focus On The Case, Not The Race

Things have been pretty foggy in Florida.  The Race Card has reduced the visibility of the investigation of this case.  Too many people are focused on Zimmerman's intentions when they should really focus on what he did in the first place.  He shot an unarmed man and claimed self defense.

I can't help but wonder where this incident took place?  Where was the actual struggle between Zimmerman and Martin.  When you think about it, the location where the fight and gun shot took place could make or break Zimmerman's claim of self defense.  Did Martin enter Zimmerman's property and instigate a brawl?  Did Zimmerman leave his property to confront a person he deemed "suspicious?"  If this took place on Zimmerman's property, his claim would seem valid because it would indicate that Martin did not do his part in avoiding a conflict and confronted Zimmerman on Zimmerman's property.

We have to also consider if Zimmerman did what he could to avoid a conflict.  Leaving the safety of your own home and confronting someone you had just called 911 on does not help a self defense claim, especially if the suspicious person is unarmed and winds up dead in the end.  No matter what side of the story you believe, if the killing took place in Zimmerman's house, the Self Defense claim would have better credibility.

Who gives a shit of Zimmerman was racist?  If Martin was a 17 year old white kid, how would this case be different?  If Martin was white (or if Zimmerman was black) the important questions would have been asked from the get-go.  People would have focused on the past of the two men. Did Zimmerman previously have a history of aggressiveness? Did Martin have a criminal record and a reputation of causing conflicts?

I honestly think that the Duke lacrosse case would have been cracked a lot faster if people wouldn't have focused on the fact that the stripper was black and the lacrosse team was white. Once people focused on the history of the "victim" the overcast skies cleared up and the fog was gone.  The case became clear.

There is a large group of people out there that will immediately support you if you pull the race card.  There is also a large group of people out there that will immediately discredit you if you pull the race card.  So when you think about it...what's the point of bringing it up in the first place.  Even if you think that some one's actions against you were racist, let the case prove itself.

"The older I get the less I listen to what people say and the more I watch what they do."

Random Mind Dumplings 21

*First of all, I would like to bitch slap anyone that complains about the amount of media attention brought to Whitney Houston's death.  The biggest complaint is that she gets more attention than our fallen Heroes in our armed forces.  If every fallen Soldier sold millions of records, generated number various number one hits, and received numerous awards for their musical performances, the media would spend more time covering the unfortunate circumstances of their death as well.  DON'T BE SURPRISED THAT YOU LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE OUR CELEBRITIES ARE COMMONLY MORE ADMIRED THAN OUR HEROES.  On average, Celebrities get paid more than Soldiers, Teachers, Firemen, Law Enforcement Officers...etc.  This is nothing new.  Get over it and move on.

*Reference is made to the above picture.  Since when has the word "Credit" been synonymous with Media Coverage?  I do not recall anyone saying that Whitney Houston died for our country.

*Whitney Houston is a lot like Barry Bonds; there is plenty of evidence that shows that she was a talented professional before drugs screwed everything up.  She was not a "drug addict" her whole career.  Death sucks...no matter the cause.  OK, I'm done with the whole Whitney rant now.

*The "Blame Obama for Everything" Party is starting to blame him for the gas price hike.  Are you dumbasses completely sure Iran has nothing to do with it?  Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a Democrat...but lately I have been SERIOUSLY anti-republican.  The fact that political parties exists in the first place is what is currently fucking this country up.  Four years ago, Democrats were the "Blame Bush for Everything" Party.  I see a pattern forming.

*Whenever I am at work, all I can think about is my daughter and wish I was home with her.  Whenever I am home with her, all I can think about is sleep.  Whenever I am done sleeping, it is time for work.  I see another pattern forming.

*Political debates are like sporting competitions for people that aren't into sports.  I feel like placing a bet on who the GOP nominee is going to be just to make these damn debates more entertaining.  Leap year is like the March Madness...November of Leap year is like the Superbowl.

*If being a great Father was as easy as it is to become a Father, there would be a lot more great Fathers out there.

*Reality TV sucks.  Average people's lives aren't as entertaining as it was back in the early 90's back when "The Real World" first started on MTV.  "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" = Cameramen following around spoiled southern Californian brats who have never worked a day in their lives. "American Pickers" = Cameramen following guys who travel the country buying...junk.  "Swamp People" = Cameramen following Hillbillies that like to fuck with animals that weren't bothering them in the first place.  "Pawn Stars" = Cameramen doing the same thing that the "American Pickers" Cameramen are doing.  "American Idol" = A Nationally Televised karaoke contest.  I miss the good old-fashioned sitcom.

*Things are going to get ugly this November.  The best thing to do is to cast your vote...and then shut the hell up.  I still think this is a damn good country to live in no matter who the President is.

Random Mind Dumplings 20 *FATHERHOOD EDITION!*

*Holy Shit! I was cheated out of 25 days of selfishness and sleep. My beautiful daugher Ryane Elise Jackson was born on January 26th.  Her original due date was Feburary 20th.

*Good things come in little packages: 5lbs. 5oz. 18"

*I do have to admit, I did go back to work too early.  But I really feel inspired to work my ass off to ensure I bring home enough money to feed a FAMILY now.

*Ryane is like Santa Clause.  She knows when we are sleeping.  She knows when we're awake.  She just does the opposite.

*I was so nervous when I changed her first diaper, I almost shit myself...isn't it ironic...don't cha think???

*I have a new found respect for the power-nap.  I have a new found respect for Lady Karma.  Watching her give birth to my heathly Girl took my breath away.  Speaking of "taking breath away," she gets gas a lot...must be from my side of the family.

*25 DAYS EARLY!!!  The night of January 25th and the morning of the 26th is just like being in 5th grade during a fire drill...walking away from the school in an orderly fashion...only to turn around and see that the school was really ON FUCKIN' FIRE!!!

*I have to admit...there was a few times during the labor and delivery where I was like, "wow...this is crazy...there are six people in this room that are looking at Lady Karma's coochie."

*Catching up at work while having a newborn at home is like running a marathon.  It's not the most pleasant experience at times, but it is worth crossing the finish line.

*If I knew she was going to be such a beautiful girl, I would have put a Shotgun on the registry.  I plan on scaring the shit out of teenage boys in the future.

*I really hope that she learns to sleep through the night soon.  When it is time for Lady Karma to go back to work, we'll both have to split 3rd shift duties.

I'm Running Out of Gas

...and I'm tired.

If you get nervous or anxious before you are about to be married, it's called "having cold feet."  What if you are nervous or anxious before you are about to be...become a Parent?

Sometimes I reluctantly rejoice in the fact that barely anyone reads this "blog."  I feel a bit more comfortable writing stuff on here.  Maybe writing all of this is all for myself...so I hope that makes it worth it.  Most of the time I try to keep it funny and heavily laced in sarcasm, my favorite social weapon, but now I find myself running out of gas.

Like any other Dumb ass seeking personal improvement, I made a few New Year's resolutions.

1. Quit fried food (not including fried okra...I'm only human).

2.  Take better care of Lady Karma, the woman crazy enough to have my Child.

3. Start kicking ass at work...be productive in the office, check e-mails more often from home, attend more field construction activities,  and make more presentations.

The fried food resolution has been easy pretty far.  I wasn't much of a chicken finger, french fry, mozzarella stick, and onion ring kind of guy.  Taking care of Lady Karma is something I can do in my sleep.  Taking better care will take work.  Sometimes I can't help but to feel as if I could do more for her.  I've stepped things up a bit at work.  I have even gotten into the habit of checking e-mails after dinner.  I even volunteered to make a presentation 12 days before Lady Karma's due date...shit...did I just say "due date?"  I'm within 40 days of becoming a father???

Guess what's missing from this list??? What about FATHERHOOD???  How the hell am I going to put something on my self improvement list when I have never done this before?  What have I gotten myself into!?  Am I going to be any good at this? Will I be a good Dad and change diapers, while simultaneously stepping on the gas pedal of my career, becoming a better husband, and never eating a hot wing again?????  I'm running out of gas.

The following three items are what keeps me going:

1.  No Man that I have ever respected has come up to me and said "Holy Shit, I wish I never had kids!"

2.  If having children was such a horrible experience, wouldn't we all be only children?

3.  No one has died after giving up fried foods.

~If you are still out there...thank you for reading.
-Karma
